Best iPhone photography hacks: 5 best that make it so much fun.

Taking pictures is a daily routine now. You need to be creative and with some few hacks added, you can surely go beyond the limits and bring out the silver lining in your pictures. The photography hacks we'll be going through will surely give you the chance to explore the heights in iPhone photography. In as much as this may sound tough, it is actually very easy to deal with.

  1. The headphone snap: This method of taking pictures with iPhone makes selfie taking more lively. All you need to do is create a nice stand where you can put the phone. Launch the camera app and press the volume down button. This will automatically take a shot.
  2. The Underwater snap: This may sound risky but in all honesty, it is really safe, All you need to do is put a clean plane glass inside the water making sure it doesn't fully immerse in the water. Now drop the phone the glass and tap the capture button. Now have a look at that awesome under water picture you just took.
  3. Panorama: Pano allows you take up to 240 degrees photo in one single photo shoot. To take a pano, First Launch the Camera app on your iPhone — note that the iPhone 4s and newer support panorama mode. Then Swipe to the left to change modes. You'll need to do this two times to switch from normal camera mode to panorama mode. The iPhone defaults to portrait mode from panoramas so make sure you are holding your iPhone that way and not in landscape mode. By default, panoramas always start on the left and want you to pan to the right. You can change this by tapping the arrow to change directions. Tap the capture button to start taking a panoramic photo. Keep your feet firmly planted and make sure the arrow stays on the line as you pan from right to left. Once you're done taking your pano, simply tap the capture button again.
  4. Macro lens: This just requires you to put a water droplet on the rear camera and take a very creative shot; after all a little drop won't cause anything. This will give you a bit of blur and a  bit of zoom which will make your photo just perfect.
  5. Burst mode: First, Launch the Camera app on your iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, or iPad Air 2. In photo mode, hold down on the shutter button to capture 10 frames per second. Release the shutter button when you're done capturing. Switch to the Photos app by tapping the photo thumbnail at the bottom left while in the Camera app — or by clicking the Home button and launching the Photos app manually. Tap on the burst mode stack you want to view — photos captured in burst mode appear as stacks in the Photos app. Then Tap on Select... at the bottom. Scroll through all the photos that burst mode captured and tap the blue checkmark on each photo you'd like to keep. Tap on Done in the upper right hand corner when you've checked the ones you'd like to keep. Tap Keep Everything if you want to keep all the photos in your burst (in case you want to change your mind later) or tap Keep Only [number] Favorites to trash the photos you didn't pick and keep only the ones you did (if you're sure).

How to transfer files from iPhone or iPad to PC and vice versa without USB cable: 3 best and risk free ways

USB cables aside the fact that using them to transfer files is slow, they get destroyed quite easily and it is sometimes just annoying carrying them around. Transferring files without them is on the other hand handy  and you actually face no problems like broken cables and others. Do you just want to transfer files faster or you just hate the USB cable? Well, today I will be taking you through 3 ways you can transfer files from your iPhone, iPad or iPod to your PC without using your USB cable. Maybe after this, you might never need the USB cable again.

Let's get started

  • Shared WiFi: Shared WiFi simply means being on the same WiFi network for file transfer to take place. There are many apps in the Appstore that perform the cordless sharing stuff but in my opinion, there is none better than Air Transfer but Kingsoft office free also does the job quite well. This app is the best for transferring music, movies, documents and any other thing wirelessly without problems. The file is free with limits on the number of files you can transfer but you can upgrade in order to go unlimited.

HOW TO USE AIR TRANSFER

  1. Tap the WiFi switch and an IP address will appear.
  2. Open a browser on your PC and type the URL including the port in the address bar and click go.
  3. In order to transfer files from your phone to the computer, click on the down button next to the list of files and your files will be downloaded.
  4. To transfer files from PC to your phone, go to your computer's files, highlight the ones you want, drag and drop them onto the drop files here area on your web interface and they will be automatically sent to your device.
  • Bluetooth: Sending files through Bluetooth is admittedly slow but comes handy when you do not have WiFi connection and your USB cable is not functioning. Just go to your PC and also your other device's Settings, switch on the Bluetooth and start your file transfer.
  • Cloud Storage and Sharing: (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud). Cloud storage is becoming more common now a days and I can't talk about wireless file transfer without adding it. Google Drive is really popular with 10GB free space, OneDrive gives you 15GB and Dropbox gives you 2GB  free space. An advantage of using this service is that you get to access all your files anywhere, anytime and on any device device provided you have internet connection. All you need is your login data.

Those are the best 3 ways to wirelessly transfer files from your iPhone, iPad or iPod to your PC. It's now your turn to choose the one you prefer more

How to download videos from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other video streaming sites onto your iPhone or iPad: 2 best ways

YouTube is great. We can say YouTube is equal to videos with no doubt coz we can find almost anything related to videos ranging from tutorials, product reviews, game plays and so much more right there but YouTube's got a problem. We cannot download videos automatically. Recently, YouTube blocked apps from downloading videos from the site but some apps couldn't be touched. I'll walk you through how to download YouTube videos onto your iPhone safely.

Let's roll»»»

We'll be using  apps named Video Downloader Lite Super - VDownload and Video Downloader - Download & Play Any Video. These apps are already in the store so search for them without omitting the '-'. There are many other apps in the store that can be used to download YouTube videos but I prefer these ones because of their in-built browser and the fact that they also come with a great price tag of FREE. The method for download videos is the same for both apps so I'll be speaking about only one.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD VIDEOS FROM YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, VIMEO AND OTHER VIMEO STREAMING SITES WITH DOWNLOAD LITE SUPER - VDOWNLOAD.

The details I will be giving will be based on YouTube but the same method can be used for Facebook, Twitter and other streaming sites.
  1. Launch the app and enter m.youtube.com (for iphone) or www.youtube.com (for ipad) into the address bar and you will access the YouTube site.

  2. When the site is fully accessed, tap on the magnifying glass on the top right corner and type the title of the video you want to download and  go.
  3. When the search results are displayed, tap on any of the videos displayed (the one you want to download to be precise) and it will automatically start to buffer. If it does not, you can tap on the play button and it will kick start.
  4. When the video starts playing, a save button will automatically bob at the down left corner of the screen in the form of a floppy disk. When the save button is tapped, a pop up screen will appear where you can tap on download for the video to start downloading. You should see a red circle with a '1' inside next to the browser button at the down left corner which when tapped will show the download progress.
  5. You can now watch you video when it's done downloading by tapping the files button next to the downloading button. You can watch the video be simply tapping on the video.
Guess these apps worked really well. Leave a comment or suggestion in the comment box. We'll love to hear from you.

IPhone tips and tricks: 24 best

Whether you are a seasoned iPhone user or you recently just got one, I will like you to know that all smart phones have so many hidden features in fact so many that no human can know all and the iPhone is no different. But before we do this, you'll need to update to the latest version of the ios software.

Let's get started»»»

Take a photo with your headphone cord: Now that you can use the volume up or down buttons to snap a photo, steady your hand while framing up the photo and when you're ready to take the picture, press the button on the cord so it won't shake the iPhone. Voila!
Dismiss suggested words: If you're typing an email or note and the virtual keyboard is suggesting the correct spelling of the word — and you don't want to accept it — you don't need to tap the tiny "X" at the end of the word in question. Simply tap anywhere on the screen to close the suggestion box.
Take photos faster: Even if your iPhone is locked you can double-tap on the Home button and you'll see a camera icon you can tap to open the camera immediately. Now you can use the volume up button to snap the photo, too. You can also use the volume up on the headphone cord to take a photo (if you want to) and pinch the screen to zoom instead of using the slider bar.

Use location-based reminders: You probably know Siri can be used to set a reminder, like saying "Siri, remind me to call mom at 4pm today." But did you know you can set location-based reminders on your iPhone 4S? Say "Remind me to call mom when I leave here" or "Remind me to call mom when I get home" and you'll be notified accordingly.

Get word definitions: Apple has recently added a built-in dictionary and you can access it in most apps that let you select a word. Simply press and hold on a word — such as in an email, reminder, iBooks, and so on — and you'll see a pop-up option for "Define."

Revive a frozen iPhone: If your smartphone freezes on you and pressing the Sleep/Wake button on top of the device doesn't do anything, don't panic. Instead, press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time. The phone will automatically shutdown. This so-called "hard reset" resuscitates the frozen iPhone. You'll first need to wait through a full shut down and restart.

Get more done in less time: You can create shortcuts to words and phrases you use a lot, such as Northern California Association for Employment in Education. In Settings, go to General, then Keyboard, and select Add New Shortcut. Now you can add new words or phrases and assign shortcuts to them (such as "NCAEE," in the above example, and it'll type out the full word each time.

See a 6-day weather forecast: If you're one of the many weather junkies out there, you probably know you can swipe down the iOS device's screen and you'll see the Notifications center. Weather will be at the top, but did you know you can swipe to the left or right and you'll toggle between current conditions and a 6-day forecast? Plus, jump to the Weather app by tapping anywhere on the weather bar inside Notifications screen.

.Select URL domains faster: When typing a website address in Safari, you don't have to type the ".com." For example, you can type "yahoo" in the URL box to get to yahoo.com. On a related note, you can press and hold down the .com button and you'll see a list of alternatives to choose, such as .net, .org and .edu.

Make your own ringtone: Don't settle with the ringtones provided by Apple and you need not pay your carrier for more of them. As the name suggests, the free Ringtone Maker app lets you take a clip from your favorite songs and make ringtones out of them in seconds.

Feel and see when people call: Apple has added a number of accessibility features to the latest version of ios specifically designed to assist those with hearing, vision, mobility and other disabilities. For example, those who are hearing impaired might opt to have the LED flash when a call comes in. If you're seeing impaired, you could set a unique vibration pattern for different people in your Contacts, so you know who's calling.

Find your lost iPhone: As long as you sign up in advance, the free Find My iPhone app will help you locate your device on a map (on your computer or other iOS device). You can display a message or initiate a loud ring (in case it's under the cushions), or remotely lock or wipe its data.

Save photos in Safari: You're surfing the web in Safari and stumble upon a photo you'd like to save. Simply press and hold on a photo when on a website and you'll be prompted with a menu asked if you'd like to "Save Image." Once the photo is saved, you can view it offline, email it or set it as wallpaper.

Take an iPhone screen grab: On a related note, if you want to take a screenshot of a website or application, press down on the Home button and tap the Sleep button. You'll hear the camera click, see a white flash and the screenshot will be saved to your Camera Roll..

Get new sounds: It's been a long time coming, but Apple has added the ability to select custom tones for incoming text messages, new emails, voicemails, tweets, calendar alerts, reminders and more. You can select something you like from within the Sounds menu. You'll also notice you can scroll to the top of this list of sounds and you'll see a "Buy More Tones" option, which takes you to iTunes.

Move to the top of the page: In Mail, Safari, Contacts and other apps, simply tap the status bar at the top of the screen — the area that displays time, battery and cell bars — to jump back to the top quickly.

Prolong your battery: Speaking of the battery, here's how to squeeze more life out of your iPhone between charges. Turn down the brightness of your screen, turn off wireless radios you don't use (such as GPS, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) and reduce the number of apps with info you have "pushed" to your phone. Also, make sure you lock it before putting in your pocket, purse or backpack or else it could turn on and drain the battery.
Spread out the keyboard: Here's a tip for iPad users: If you like typing while holding the tablet, rather than stretch your fingers or thumbs for those middle letters like G, H, Y or B, you can drag the keyboard to each side of the screen to separate it into two, allowing you to easily type while holding it.
Great gestures: Close any app ridiculously fast by putting your four fingers and thumb stretched on the screen and pinch inwards. Sweet! You can also magnify what's on your iPhone screen with a three-finger tap. You'll first need to go to Settings, General, Accessibility, and select the various gestures options here.
Create an "app" out of a website you visit often: To add a website to your Home screen, just visit the webpage in Safari and at the top of the screen, tap the Go To icon and select "Add to Home Screen."
Create a music playlist on the go: You no longer need a computer to create a playlist. In the Music app, tap Playlists, then select Add Playlist and give it a name ("Marc's Workout Mix"). Now, tap any song (or video) to add it to the playlist. You can add individual songs, entire albums, or all songs by a particular artist.
Delete messages in bulk: You can delete unwanted emails en masse rather than deleting one at a time. In your Inbox, simply click the Edit button and check off the emails you want to delete with your finger and then choose Delete.
Keep track of your texting limits: If you don't have the best texting plan and don't want to unnecessarily pay to send more texts than you need, here's a tip to turn on the character count in the Messages app. Enable this in the Settings>Message option to keep an eye on your word count. Usually, your one text becomes two after 160 characters.
Mirror your iPhone with your TV: If you own an Apple TV, you can instantly and wirelessly share exactly what's on your iPhone 4S and later versions or second- and third-generation iPad with your HDTV, connected to an Apple TV — such as games, apps or videos. Simply double-tap the Home button, swipe all the way to the right and select AirPlay Mirroring.

Click the "contact us" button and send us feedback or leave a comment in the comment box.

IPHONE 6S LEAK: FEATURES IT WILL BE HAVING WHEN OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED IN SEMPTEMBER

How the iPhone 6s may look according to proportion
We've all been waiting for ages just to know how the iPhone 6s will look like. I'm equally surprised at how long it has taken for a major leak to emerge. Well, it's here now and it looks just so cool.

The leak comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a rock solid track record on Apple leaks in recent years. Kuo spoke privately to investors today breaking down 11 key features he understands will make up the key elements of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus when they are launched in September.

HERE ARE THE 11 FEATURES THE PHONE WILL BE HAVING
  • Force Touch will be the biggest upgraded selling point, but also one of the main bottlenecks of the supply chain. Force Touch can enhance user experience due to more input methods and support of handwritten signatures, which is beneficial for expanding in the commercial market
  • Screen will remain at 4.7 and 5.5 inches, with resolution the same as existing models. There will be no new 4-inch model
  • There will be an additional casing color, rose gold, matching the rose gold Apple Watch Edition
  • The camera will have a pixel upgrade, likely to 12 MP
  • One microphone will be added near the speaker to enhance voice quality
  • The A9 processor with upgraded 2GB LPDDR4 will be adopted
  • The bending issue will be improved by using different casing materials and internal mechanical design changes
  • If drop test issues can be resolved, the 5.5-inch model will have a limited number of units with sapphire cover lens
  • The recognition rate of Touch ID will be improved further in a bid to promote Apple Pay
  • Gesture control support
  • It’s expected that mass production will start in mid-to-late August. Total shipments will be 80-90mn in 2015, with a 2:1 ratio of 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models.
