3 simple steps to make chrome faster on your android device.

If you've ever used or you're using Chrome, you should have noticed by now how it starts to get very slow with time. Many like Google Chrome because of how it easily synchronises your bookmark and history over from the desktop and how it makes you feel safe because you're more sure that your personal data is not being leaked to someone somewhere. As the the clock goes tick tock, on the contrary, you forget about all the fun you've ever had with it due to how sluggish it becomes and you just feel like switching to another browser. All hope is never lost, it can be fixed. Now let's check out how.

  • Clear cache data: Clearing cache is one tweak that works for every single app and Chrome is no different. Clearing chrome's cached data in your settings will make chrome feel like how it was when you first downloaded it; that smooth and speedy app. Clearing the cache will remove some saved pages, bookmarks and some other junks you will never need. To clear it's cached data, go to Setting>applications(apps)  and then select chrome. In the next screen, tap "clear cache" and when the pop-up appears, tap 'okay'. You can also do same by tapping the chrome menu>settings>privacy>clear browsing data.
  • Save data: Chrome has a feature that allows you to access very huge sized sites at a much lower size. This feature which is under chrome's settings is named, "data saver". What this feature does is that it sends the link you want to access to a third party server which compresses the size and displays it to you in a lower size. This feature does not only help save data but it also helps you speed up your surfing on Chrome as well.  To activate this, go to Chrome's menu>Settings>data saver> and then you switch it on. Check out how to cut down on your data consumptions without downloading a single app
  • Allocate more RAM: Chrome also has some hidden settings which cannot be accessed in the normal settings but can be done by typing special chrome commands in the address bar. These features are called flags. They are there for experimental purposes but you can use them without fear but they may not be there after sometime. To access the flag for allocating more RAM for Chrome, copy and paste "chrome://flags/#max-tiles-for-interest-area" (without the "") into the address bar and tap go. When it is done loading, select "maximum tiles for interest area" then allocate the RAM. Note that it is advisable to allocate 512 only if your RAM is 2gb or above but if less, then allocate 256 or less.
Guess your chrome is faster now. You can contact us by clicking the "contact us"  button on the first navigation bar or just leave your questions, suggestions or comments in the comment box below. Your feedback is really important.

3 very easy Ways to reduce data consumption on android without using any app

Android devices as we all know android devices consume loads of data to the extent service providers have also moved from the days of offering unlimited data to offering a few gigabytes. Now is the time you should reduce your data consumptions but the question is how?

HOW TO REDUCE YOUR DATA CONSUMPTION ON ANDROID

Reducing data consumption is one of the easiest and also one of the best things you can do to help you. Today I will be giving you very easy and summarized step by step approach on how to reduce your data consumption without downloading even a single app.

  • Restrict Background data usage: Some apps just enjoy using background data hence they keep on wasting your data on some things you may never need talk less of want. These apps need to be prevented from doing so ASAP. To prevent this, go to Settings>data usage>tap on the Android menu(for 4.1 and above) >Restrict background data.
  • Find mobile version of websites: When you surf the net on your android, scroll to the bottom of that page and request for the site's mobile version which is much lighter when it comes the data size. This means that instead of 10mb, you get only 5mb size. I've been using this and it has helped me alot especially when I'm not using Wi-Fi.
  • Enable compression in "compression-enabled browsers" :  Opera mini and Google Chrome and some other browsers have features under their settings which help compress the size of Web pages before they are sent to you. What it actually does is that before you access a site, all the data on that site is sent to a third party server for it to be totally compressed before it is sent to you. Google Chrome's is named "data saver" and Opera mini's, "off road mode".

Ever wondered if you can watch TV, stream live sports and watch some great movies Free without any subscription? To be really honest with you, there are numerous apps out that allow you to watch TV on your android FREE but most of them are really not good. Today, I will be highlighting on the best 2 avaliable apps for the job.

Check out the top 10 android apps you must have on your android device.

2. LiveNow! TV

LiveNow! TV app is an app developed by live now to bring entertainment to the world with a price tag of FREE and due to that, it runs ads but the ads don't give you trouble at all. The app has over 200 live TV channels and 500 VOD which you can watch and record as well. This app is one I have tested with both WiFi and cellular data (3G,E, H and H+) and I can confirm that the app streams really well even when signal is fair.
LiveNowTV gives you the opportunity to watch more that 200 live TV +500 VOD without subscription nor sign up

1. OLWEB

OLWEB is an android app that I will say is the best when you want to watch free movies and unlimited live sporting events. OLWEB has a wide range of top class TV channels that are sorted out to help you choose what you really want and choose it easily. Though this app is free and also runs ads just like the by LiveNow! TV, it's ads are also very less intrusive hence saving you the trouble of mistakenly tapping on ads while streaming. In fact, ads don't show at all when streaming. One disadvantage of this app is that it does not work very well when signal strength is poor though it is manageable even under such conditions.
OLWEB gives you a variety of top class TV channels free with no subscription nor sign up

WhatsApp tricks - Top 7.for Android users

WhatsApp is the greatest messaging app in existence. Even though it has over the years had competition from apps like wechat, it has still been able to stand tall with improvements and added features with the latest being its call feature. WhatsApp has been built in such a way that using it is so easy and with the tricks I'm about to highlight on, it will even be easier and more fun.
  • Backing up messages - As we all know, we sometimes end up deleting our very important messages mistakenly and wish to have them back. Or we just want to change our phone and we really need all our messages back. Well, it's not difficult to do that, all you need to do is to go to the WhatsApp Settings>Chat settings and tap on "back up chats". Note: WhatsApp automatically backs up every message at 4:00 in the morning.
  • Check when your sent message was read - Sending messages without reply is really frustrating. Especially when you see that blue thick but you are still not getting your reply and you start to guess, "maybe he/she just finished reading it". Guess it's high time you knew how to check when your message was read. Long press on the message and tap on the button with an " 'i' in a circle" that pops up on the green bar.
  • Hide last seen - Sometimes you just tap on the app and take a quick glance at your messages because you are very busy thus won't be able to reply your messages but the sad news is that whenever you do that, WhatsApp automatically stores that time as your last seen and making people who have sent you the message feel ignored whiles in reality, they're not. It's easy to fix this just by hiding your last seen. Just go to the WhatsApp Settings>Account>Privacy and tap "Last seen" . Now you can change who you want to view your last seen there.
  • Select who sees your Profile photo and status - One way or the other, strangers end up having our phone numbers and get to see our profile photos and read a our status without us having any idea and sometimes it puts our lives at risk. This is not impossible to prevent. All you need to do is go to the WhatsApp Settings>Account>Privacy and tap either "Profile photo" or 'Status' to change who is allowed to view them.
  • Know who read your message in a group -  Sometimes you send a message or a string of messages in a group and then no one replies. Ouch, that hurts. You end up assuming no one is online. Don't just keep assuming; be sure. Long press the message you've sent and then tap on the button with an " 'i' in a circle" that pops up on the green bar. There you will be able to see those have read and those who have only received  the messages with the exact time they did indicated.
  • Hide blue thick - Blue thick sometimes just show up when you desperately need them not to. Those moments when you are too busy to reply but you are so tempted that you tapped on the message but before you know it, WhatsApp has already sent a "read status" to the sender. Omg, too bad. To save yourself the trouble, tap the WhatsApp  Settings>Account>Privacy and then uncheck the "read receipts" box.
  • Restore deleted messages - It just happens that we sometimes mistakenly end up deleting our messages. That is never the end for them. All you need to do is uninstall and reinstall the app and when setting it up, allow restore and that's it. You've got the messages back except the ones you sent/received after 4:00 that day. And if you've changed your phone and need your messages back, then you'll need to insert your SD card into the new phone before installing WhatsApp but if your new phone has not SD card slot, then you'll need to copy your WhatsApp folder from your file manager into the new phone's.
Hope these tricks help you enjoy WhatsApp even more. Your questions, suggestions and comments are really important. .
