- Killing your battery: Those free apps do run loads of run ads and of course ads need more energy, even more energy than the app itself. These ads need to do extra work in order to access the servers they are loading from. And this numerous connections use the phone's battery power for their junk of a work. - Really crazy in-app purchases: Yeah for sure you should expect this. The in app purchases even cost more than it'd cost anyone to buy the most expensive app in the playstore. - Unseen Malware and secret connections: Some of these free but ad free and sometimes even those that do run ads do have have some codes in them that take your info and secret connections that allow the info collected to be sent to people you don't know. And who knows what they'll be doing with such info?
- Poor device performance: You pay with your device's performance. The app's that run ads need more of your CPU and RAM in order to access the ad servers thus making your device lag so much. This can get you do much frustrated
- Huge data bills: This is so obvious. It is so true. Free apps that run ads need your data to access their ad sites. No wonder most of them ask for data access before you can uses them. They just waste your data for their thrash and your data bill piles up to 'huge' at the end of the month.
